YOUR BEHAVIOURAL STYLE: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS

You can't become a snake if you were born a wolf. Well, that concept applies in every area of your life. Your personal traits are yours for life and you need to be aware of them in order for you to be happy, healthy and wealthy.

In Business, we know that there are 4 types of people.

One of them is the relater who is open and prefer indirect and slow paced activities. The relater is generally warm and friendly, slow and easy. He or she likes to share her or his feelings, is a good listener  and is generally  cooperative.

Another one is the thinker who is reserved and likes time to think things through. That is the efficient perfectionist, more on the slow and cautious than on the fast and furious. S/he loves to have task oriented activities and love following instructions.S/he is perfectly happy working on her/his own.

The socialiser likes things to be direct and fast. For him or her relationships are important. He or she  knows the value s/he adds to the work place and s/he works fast with enthusiasm. This type is not afraid to take risks and can be very persuasive.

The final type is called the director.  S/he like things to be fast and to take his or her time to reflect. This type loves to take decisions but does not share his or her feelings. S/he has little concerns for relationships. His or her main aim is results. Others find him or her dominating.

Can you spot yourself in one of these portraits? Yes? We all endorse all of these personalities at one point or another but we have our preference and we stick with that because it is more natural for us.
